Parker Hannifin, a global leader in motion and control technologies, has taken another step forward in its sustainability journey by installing a 933.51 kWp rooftop solar PV system at its Gateshead site.
Through a fully-funded, Octopus Energy Generation Power Purchase Agreement, developed by Zestec and delivered by AR Power, Parker Hannifin’s system will generate over 842,000 kWh of clean electricity annually, meeting approximately 25% of the site’s total power requirements. This will deliver an estimated £35,000 annual saving on electricity costs, while helping the business strengthen its ESG commitments and reduce its carbon footprint.
